Giving
All that we have and all that we are comes from God. Our giving is in response to that. We do not give out of obligation; instead we give out of a belief that God will use our financial gifts to expand the kindom here on this Earth.
How To Give
To reach the donation page, click the offering button below. If you are a first time user, you will need to sign up by providing your personal info and choosing a password as well as your preference in giving; method, and amount. You will have the option of using either a recurring or one time gift. You may also leave this blank, which allows you to give randomly.
Once this is completed, future donations may be made by simply filling in the amount.

Scrip Order Form
If you are looking for an easy place to get gift cards while giving some money to the church - Scrip is your answer! You get the full amount of the gift card and Scrip gives a percentage to the church. The order forms are available on the back table in the Narthex, on the welcome table in the hallway, on the bulletin board, or in the office. There are a few new places to get cards from like DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Instacart. If you are looking for a national company and don't see it on the order form, just ask! There are 9 pages of companies and it can be a little overwhelming.
Many companies offer $10 cards just for Christmas. If you are interested in this option, see Margaret. Often Amazon, AMC, Applebee's, CVS, Home Depot, Meijer's, Olive Garden, and Walmart offer these. If you want one of these limited time cards just make a note on the bottom of the order form and add it to your amount.

Give the order form and money (cash or check made out to St. Matthew’s UMC) to Margaret Schlack or put it in the black box outside the office. Emailing or texting an order is also okay, as long as there is a record of the order. If you need the cards by a certain date, write it on your form.
