St. Matthew's Farmers Market
During the Summer St. Matthew's Farmer's Market gives all proceeds to fighting hunger.
Society of St. Andrew
An organization which, through gleaning and fundraising helps to
feed the hungry throughout the United States.
CASS COMMUNITY SERVICES
Cass Community Social Services is a Detroit-based agency dedicated to providing food, housing, health services, and job programs.
Twice a week the St. Matthew's truck travels to the Cass center in Detroit to deliver canned food collected from our church as well as items donated by the Value Mart Food Store at 6 mile and Inkster.
Donated food is taken to a local shelter(s) on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Contact Ken Duluk for more information: kjduluk@yahoo.com
REDFORD-BRIGHTMOOR INITIATIVE
The Redford-Brightmoor Initiative (RBI) is located on Outer Drive between I-96 and 5 Mile. Their mission is to provide
families with essential goods and services as a means of achieving stability while building community. St. Matthew's partners with our United Women in Faith with yearly collections of food and toiletry items.
