Nicholas Bonsky
Lead Pastor
Nick Bonsky is in his second year as Pastor at St. Matthews. His passion in leading the congregation is to help them to realize the best versions of themselves, as they are made in the image of God. Prior to serving St. Matthews, Nick served Orchard UMC in Farmington Hills for 16 years. Nick received his Masters of Divinity from Methodist Theological School in Ohio and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Western Michigan University. Nick is married to his wife, Lesley and they have one child, Elijah. In his free time, Nick likes collecting vinyl records and using his hands to build things such as home improvement projects, and computer projects.
Kim DeSantis
Office Administrator
Kim has been a member of St. Matthew’s since 2003 and has been on staff since 2019. She has served on the Christian Education Committee for 20 years (chairing it for the past 15 years) and has been VBS Director for almost 20 years. She has been married to Todd for 26 years and together with their three children, Joey, Ben, and Rachel, have been active members of the congregation. Kim is honored to work here, serving those she worships with at St. Matthew’s.

Bob Bartkowiak
Organist/Music Coordinator
Bob Bartkowiak is the organist/music coordinator for St. Matthews Church. He is responsible for providing music for Sundays and special services. He has enjoyed providing music at St. Matthews for 21 years. Bob started playing piano at a very young age. At age 13 he began playing services at St. Suzanne Church in Detroit. Married to his wife Sue for 42 years, they have one daughter, Brittany. Bob enjoys going fishing, camping, sports and music. He received his bachelor's degree in engineering from Michigan State University.

Jenny Ronayne
Church Outreach Director
Jenny Ronayne has been a member of St. Matthew’s for 15 years. She previously was on staff as the Church Life Coordinator where her focus was on the wellbeing of the members of the congregation as well as the welcome and tending of visitors. She has served on the Congregational Care Team, sang in the Chancel Choir, was a VBS leader, and was Chair of the Membership Committee. She has been married to Dan for 26 years and has two children, Dererk and Caroline. She is thrilled to be back on staff at St. Matthew’s!
